UsNet provides shared branching services to participating credit unions as part of CO-OP Shared Branch's national network. It was founded in 1993 by New York credit unions that saw the need for members to have access to their services beyond their home branches. Today, there are more than 200 UsNet sponsored shared branches in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Through UsNet, members of a participating credit union can access their accounts at any other credit union in the network and conduct virtually any transaction as if they were at their home branch. This person-to-person convenience empowers credit unions and embodies the cooperative spirit of the movement.
